EnumExtensionsToIntTEnum Method

Converts an enum value to its integer equivalent. If the enum is nullable and the value is NULL, the integer value of defaultValue will be returned

Parameters

value
Type: SystemNullableTEnum
The enum value to convert
defaultValue
Type: TEnum
The default value to return when value is NULL

Type Parameters

TEnum
The type of enum

Return Value

Type: Int32
The integer value of value or defaultValue when value is NULL

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type NullableTEnum. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
