Converts a double to a formatted string.

Parameters

value
Type: SystemDouble
The value to convert to string
format (Optional)
Type: SystemString
Optional format to use instead of the default format which is based on the precision used for equality comparision

Return Value

Type: String
A rounded and InvariantCulture formatted string of the double.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type Double. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
